The Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall pays tribute to the brave members of the U.S. Armed Forces who fought in the Vietnam War and were killed or missing in action.
Tomorrow they will receive the coveted Infantry Blue Cord at 0900 at Kanell Field, and will graduate into the ranks of the Infantry at 0900 at the National Infantry Museum! Congratulations again to all trainees, friends, family, and spouses. The 1-50 ITB couldn't be more proud of you!
21 Φεβ 2019 · The Vietnam Veterans Memorial pays tribute to those who served in the Vietnam War and is one of the most visited attractions in Washington DC. The memorial is a black granite wall inscribed with the names of 58,286 American’s killed or missing in the Vietnam conflict.
The 1st Battalion (Mechanized), 50th Infantry served in Vietnam from 22 September 1967 to 13 December 1970 in II Corps (Central Highlands), providing our combat power to major units as and where it was most needed.
