Mark Margolis (/ m ɑːr ˈ ɡ oʊ l ɪ s /, mar-GOH-liss; November 26, 1939 – August 3, 2023) was an American actor, best known for his portrayal of the character Hector Salamanca in Breaking Bad (2009–2011) and Better Call Saul (2016–2022).
Although Hector himself is killed, he gets his long-awaited revenge against Gus for the death of his nephews, his grandson, Juan Bolsa, Don Eladio and all of his cartel allies, while at the same time ruining the vengeance Gus had personally sought against him for two decades.
