12 Ιαν 2013 · One of the Breaking Bad episodes involves a scene with a fly. Walter is obsessed by a fly in the lab and tries to kill it in order to keep the room clean. I was told there's a special meaning but I have no clue about it...
26 Ιαν 2024 · Summary. The "Fly" episode of Breaking Bad was divisive but inventive, with some criticizing its slow pace while others praised it as a subtle character exploration. The fly in the episode symbolizes Walt's guilt and his need for control, reflecting his transformation into Heisenberg.
Right at the beginning of episode 8, the scene simply depicts a fly which Walt is looking right at. He seems troubled, obviously because he just needlessly wasted a valuable ally (more like frenemy) in Mike. There's no coincidence to this scene.
The Fly has one scene where Walter talks about the coincidences happening around them (like jane's father and the plane crash). I cannot think of any filmography where the characters actually realize they are part of a story other than pulp fiction and this episode.
4 Νοε 2018 · Flies were a common insect that appeared in Breaking Bad. It has been speculated that the fly represents guilt, contamination, irrational obsession, and the loss of control in Walter White's life. In this case, it would represent his shooting of Mike.
"Gliding Over All" is the eighth episode of the fifth season of Breaking Bad and the fifty-fourth episode altogether. It is also the mid-season finale. At Vamonos Pest, Walt is observing a fly when Todd informs him that he has disposed of Mike's car.
