Specifically looking at the Green Lightening for a 12 gauge. I'm not trying to start a debate on shotgun, rifle, pistol, spray.

Even a moderately hardened Brenneke Black Magic rifled slug might glance off the bear's skull, or just flatten out and not penetrate his skull.
