  1. 21 Σεπ 2018 · With the release of Bricklink's Studio 2.0 and seeing its increased popularity I decided to have a closer look at it, here is a quick summary of my experience using it. 1 - Installation Nothing much to say: download the installer and launch it... Nothing to configure, it just works. 2 - Building

  2. 8 Δεκ 2018 · The things I miss in Studio compared to LDCad are - the flexible parts generator (but Studio should have one in the future, hopefully soon), - some way to access parts coordinates and orientation (it helps to check if snapping went right) - LDCad triangle closure calculator ...but I love Studio photorealistic renderer and instructions generator!

  3. 12 Οκτ 2020 · I played a bit with the different tools (LDView, LDCad, Bricklink Studio 2.0) but I do not understand the necessary workflow. As far as I understand, the necessary DUPLO .dat files are provided by LDraw (I can find them in the ..\LDraw\parts folder), but I do not know how to use them to build a model, that can be displayed in Bricklink Studio 2.0.

  8. 30 Δεκ 2018 · As you can see, pre-colored boot is not correctly shaded. But this is clearly a bug in Studio, as this happens also with "normal" parts in Studio library. Here is an example with precolored arms torso (973c02) and the "released" version, with separated arms and hands. Edited January 2, 2019 by Philo

  9. 12 Ιαν 2020 · Could someone give some explanation on how to efficiently use Bricklink Studio 2.0? I wanted to try designing something in there and then buying the parts and tinkering with it physically, but I am having so much trouble inserting pins into pinholes, getting things at the same elevation, etc.

  10. My wife needed 18970 (2x2 plate with scallop) in an ldraw model and it's not in the official or unofficial part tracker. It is, however, in Bricklink so I thought it might be in Stud.Io... and it is. So, to make a quick and dirty conversion, I Opened up Stud.Io and inserted the part, then exported it as a Collada file.
