18 Ιαν 2010 · The CD-ROM drive may not be reading disks properly. If the drive is not working now, I don't have suggestions about how to locate a replacement. Try an audio (music) CD, or try your OS 9 installer disk.
5 Σεπ 2020 · I've seen other reports where macOS seems to have trouble reading really old Mac hard drives from the PPC era which did partition the drives differently. You may be able to use a Linux boot disc to access the older CDs/DVDs plus Linux is free to download and use.
29 Μαρ 2023 · After upgrading to OS Ventura on my iMac desktop, my NOLYTH external CD-DVD drive is no longer recognized in finder and will not play a CD that I insert into it. With older versions of the operating system, it worked fine.
14 Ιαν 2017 · Hi everyone, I've been experiencing a problem with my MacBook Pro (Mid 2012) lately regarding the CD/DVD drive and I'm not sure what to do about it. I've tried looking through various other threads for a solution but nothing so far has worked.

9 Ιουλ 2017 · This is a collection of Macintosh software disk images ranging from the mid-80's to the late '90's. The formats include 400K MFS, 800 HFS, 1.44 HFS, original CD images & custom disk images that I have created.
