26 Αυγ 2009 · I have one of their choke tubes (light modified) for my Remington 870 Express Super Mag. The good things I see about after market choke tubes is that they provide a variety of options in sizes compared to what Remington offers. Plus, they are easily changed.

13 Μαΐ 2024 · Using an article by Nick Sisley as a model, I tested two Briley Helix choke tubes, Modified and Extra Full, against two other extended chokes of the same constriction but conventional design. I shot 40 patterns and analyzed them with the program Shotgun-Insight, which is an absolutely necessary tool for this sort of task.
14 Μαΐ 2012 · Briley Extended Choke Tubes, $43. Although slightly on the heavy side compared with the other chokes, the Brileys were easy to install and remove with a choke wrench or by hand. They were clearly identifiable as to their constriction and our measurements proved they were right on the money.
25 Μαΐ 2017 · The Briley tubes I've tested, and that's a lot of them, have all shot at least as well as anything else. The exceptions are the long, long ported ones, Skeets, Smoke, Puregold, Comp-n-choke, etc., which reliably shoot a little tighter than others.

17 Σεπ 2009 · The Remington factory chokes were more consistent from shot to shot by registering an average extreme variation (EV) for the three five-shot strings of <15 pellets while the Carlson's average EV was 30 pellets. However, both choke systems seemed to distribute pellets equally even across the patterns.
6 Φεβ 2014 · The condensed version is: The tested Briley Helix® chokes performed well, but just the same as equally-constricted conventional choke tubes. The Helix feature had no effect at all on the patterns. The trick with choke tubes is to buy chokes that give you the most confidence.
