The BSJA has five categories ranking from - yep, you guessed it - 1 to 5, the simple differences are the prize money on offer and the height of fences. How do BSJA point work?
British Showjumping, formally the BSJA, is the name given to the governing body which has authority over showjumping in Britain. British Showjumping have overarching jurisdiction on the rules to which affiliated competitions must adhere. Affiliated competition is different from unaffiliated.
The 2020 British Showjumping Members Handbook is available on the website. Rules that have been amended since the 2020 addition was produced are identified in red ink through out.
British Showjumping have carefully designed and developed classes and courses within their National Membership competiton structure to suit all ranges of ability. A full list of these can be found in section 4 of the Members Handbook.
