A broken dragon hasta is a broken form of the dragon hasta and can be received as loot from the brimstone chest. Players can show the broken dragon hasta to Otto Godblessed for a free repair. Players do not have to learn Barbarian Smithing via the Barbarian Training miniquest to do this.

Dragon hastae are obtained as loot from the brimstone chest, which requires a brimstone key to open. The dragon hasta is obtained in broken form and it can be repaired for free by showing it to Otto Godblessed (the repair does not require Barbarian Smithing).
I got the broken d hasta out of the brimstone chest on my 1600 total iron. Currently 69/80/61 melees; is this thing worth using anywhere at any point? I always thought it was a cool item on the drop table and didn’t expect to ever get it.
This item is currently useless - you can repair it at Otto's for free and without even starting Barbarian Training, so there's no cost involved in converting it into a Dragon Hasta other than the time it takes to get to Otto.
I just got a broken dragon hasta from brimstone chest and I'm curious if it's any useful anywhere? The bigger thing I should note is is I have a Dragon Sword, so does the sword already make the hasta completely useless?
This contains the broken Dragon hasta and used to contain 2,500 Saradomin brews which were removed shortly after the update. Key feedback included our aim to reduce drops that are normally produced by skilling.
Hastae can be obtained either by trading with another player or using the Smithing skill. Most hastae (excluding the Zamorakian hasta, Gilded hasta, and Dragon hunter lance) can be poisoned with either normal weapon poisons or karambwan paste.
