It provides with a broad knowledge of the principals of education, a firm foundation of teaching skills and practices in educational research. The BEd degree curriculum covers both the content and pedagogy of teaching.
The primary responsibility of the Department of Teacher Education is to ensure educator-trainers and academics working in the field of Education update their knowledge and skills through formal qualification. The department conducts profession-oriented Diplomas, bachelor’s degrees, Postgraduate diplomas, Master’s, and MPhil degree programs.
