Treasure Trails is a Distraction and Diversion which involves solving clue scrolls, rarely dropped items dropped by the majority of monsters in RuneScape. Clue scrolls contain clues and riddles for the player to solve to eventually find a reward casket, which could contain unique rewards.
Puzzle boxes contain a scrambled image that players must work to unscramble by clicking on tiles to move them to an empty space. Once the puzzle box is completed, players will need to talk to the NPC who gave the puzzle box to receive the next clue or the reward.
1 Φεβ 2020 · For any type of Treasure Trail activity, you will need to carry the Clue scroll. If you die and lose the clue, then you cannot get it back. You will have to try to get another one. You can only have one clue at a time, either in your bank or inventory.
A beginner clue scroll is the lowest difficulty treasure trail, the only clue scroll available to free-to-play players, and the only clue scroll offering free-to-play rewards. An easy clue scroll is a low difficulty treasure trail, with a low reward yield.
Shortcut: ttgcr. Cryptic clues are common riddle clues that can be found in all level Treasure Trails. These clues demand a fairly wide variety of tasks. The tasks can be from speaking to an NPC, searching a designated crate, or directing the player to dig in some fairly obscure location.
Puzzle boxes are 'step two' of a clue: first the player has to find the right NPC to speak to (when they get a cryptic or anagram clue), and then they have to solve the puzzle, to advance along their trail.
