The Fossil Island bank is a bank found on Fossil Island, in the Museum Camp. Players must first build the bank, requiring 21 Construction. Building the bank requires 2 oak planks, 1 iron bar, 5 nails and a hammer. The bank chest can only be built once, giving 250 Construction experience.
Beneath the waters of Fossil Island lies a large underwater area that can be accessed by using the rowboat at the north-east corner of the mushroom forest — travelling out to sea with the rowboat brings the player to a small island with a bank chest, where they can then travel back or right click on the rowboat to enter the underwater area.
The Varrock Museum expedition resides here. After arriving on Fossil Island via the canal barge, the player will be just west of the Museum Camp. At first, the camp will not be very useful, but players can utilise their Construction skill to build improvements within the camp.

Walk east towards the bank icon inside of the tent. Select on the dismantled chest to build the chest pieces and unlock the bank on Fossil Island. Required: 21 Construction, hammer, 1 iron bar, 2 oak planks, 5 nails
If you’re die hard about staying on fossil island though, try farming your own jute in hops patches on the mainland and use the jute fibre at the loom you can build on fossil. It’s near the bank chest and offers very fast crafting xp using the drift net method.
Fossils are items on Fossil Island that are used to build displays on the bottom floor of the Varrock Museum (below the natural history floor). Completing a display requires a complete set of one type of fossil (i.e. small/medium/large) and grants 2 Kudos and an experience lamp based on the type of category of the fossils.
