Rope Bridge Kits are intended to create a suspended passageway between two or more tree platforms, but can also be used to span rivers and other obstacles. Each kit includes everything you need to build the bridge except the walking surface. Step by step instructions are included.
Roadrunner Bridge is proud to present prefabricated steel bridge kits as our new patent pending product. The bolt together assmbly performed by the end user at the installation makes this our most cost efficent bridge. The bridge kit comes in 20 feet lengths and with either 8 or 10 feet widths.
Here is our design for an 80’ long walking bridge that spans our creek and is set back far enough for a serious flood. The challenge was to do as much as possible without the need of machinery or swimming.
Building a rope bridge, with or without wood cross pieces, requires just a few basic knots. However, these knots require practice to make them well and quickly. A good knot is easy to tie, stays tied when in use, and can be untied easily when its use is completed.
