15 Μαρ 2017 · They are quality basses no more no less. If you are in Europe get the Sandberg, else the Lakland is probably cheaper. Thanks for replying, I've got a choice of a Sandberg Califonia TM5 for $1850 AUD negotiable or a Lakland 55-02 Deluxe for $1800-2200 AUD, I can get either.

22 Νοε 2004 · I've tried a bund of different Sandberg's as the local shop try hard to make it their most selling bass brand (they always have about 10 models to try out), and for me it's also the California PM that wins when it comes to great sounds and versatility.
I play a Sandberg Electra VS4 which is their budget line P-bass style bass with a modern touch. The playability is really good and the build quality is great. I also tested some of their California p and J basses and they were astonishing but out of my budget.
