The BWF Coach Education Level 1 is the first of the four levels in the Coach Education framework. Launched at the beginning of 2012, it is the most fundamental course for Badminton Coaches.
The BWF Coach Education Level 1 Online Component has been designed to address the theoretical content from our Level 1 course in a dynamic, interactive way. This will allow coach candidates to examine various aspects of coaching at their own pace, prior to coming on a face-to-face course.

These online courses can be used as stand-alone resources for national federations or other organisations/individuals looking for self-study options, but also serve as a point of entry for the higher-level courses that are run at the Continental Confederation level.

The BWF coaching framework for Level 1 is the foundational level of the BWF coaching curriculum. As the essential course level for aspiring BWF-certified coaches, it covers the basics of badminton, from badminton movement to tactics.
