Children aged 5 to 11 can travel in a different cabin class from their parent or guardian on the same flight. However, they will also need to fly on an adult fare. The child will be considered accompanied and won’t have access to our children’s lounge and special services.

Our family-friendly services include making it a priority to seat all of you together and setting guidelines for your safety when travelling with child-restraint devices or while pregnant.
Child (2 to 12 years old) Flying on Emirates. Tickets for children travelling in a separate seat are discounted from the full adult fare. Emirates Unaccompanied Minor service is not available in conjunction with a discounted ‘child’ ticket—a full adult fare must be purchased.
