We have been manufacturing carbon black since 1952. Today, approximately 150 employees produce more than 70 grades of carbon blacks for elastomer reinforcement and specialty carbons . With six manufacturing units, we serve customers throughout North America.

29 Ιουν 2020 · At the Franklin plant, Cabot will reduce NO X emissions by 90% through the use of selective catalytic control and SO 2 emissions by 95% using wet gas scrubbing. These robust and well-established technologies are in use today at several of Cabot’s sites across the world.
Built in 1943, our four manufacturing units produce more than 10 different carbon black grades that are sold to customers throughout North America. Our team consists of approximately 110 employees who are active in a variety of central Louisiana community activities.
