POWER OUTAGES: Continuing power outages in Camarillo are mostly due to fire damage. Southern California Edison (SCE) has been assessing damage and restoring power when safe. Time estimates for restoration of service may not yet be available in some areas.

6 Νοε 2024 · Update 11/12/24: Minimal fire activity overnight. Predicted winds did not materialize overnight and fire crews maintained the fire within the existing control lines. Fire suppression repair operations are ongoing and damage inspection teams remain out in the fire area assessing affected structures.

There will be heat that will remain interior for several days as crews continue to focus efforts on mopping up large mulch piles. Damage inspections and fire suppression repair activities are on-going.
6 Νοε 2024 · Situation Summary. The fire began in the Somis area and was driven by winds into the Camarillo Heights and the Camarillo Estates areas, where numerous homes were damaged or destroyed. Fire remains active on the northeast portion of the fire, moving downslope towards the Santa Clara River.
