My Cal Poly Portal connects students, staff and faculty to campus apps and information. The Portal requires a Cal Poly username and password and Duo authentication for access.
My Cal Poly Portal. Use the My Cal Poly Portal to access your grades, register for classes, plan your schedule. Access campus email and shared documents. Contact the Service Desk for help.
Once logged in, users can find quick links to campus apps like Canvas, manage their personal information, access email & calendar, and receive important campus notifications. Students must also log in to My Cal Poly portal to pay tuition and register for classes.
The portal is available to students one year (four terms) after their last enrolled term at Cal Poly. If you have been away from Cal Poly for more than four terms, mail or fax your address change request to: Cal Poly, Office of the Registrar, San Luis Obispo, CA 93407 or Fax: 805-756-7237.
A Cal Poly email address and calendar are automatically created for all students, faculty, and staff when their relationship with Cal Poly begins, as part of an Office 365 account. This service is also available to emeritus and guests of the university.
Preparing for Registration. To prepare for registration, visit your Student Center to: Find your enrollment appointment date and time. Clear any holds on your account. Access degree planning and class scheduling tools to determine which courses you need.
Even if you are not new to the USA, you still must still complete the online orientation course, which will be customized for your program and visa type. When the course is available, it will appear on your portal as a Canvas course, and instructions will be e-mailed to you.
