5 Απρ 2018 · Prior research has shown that cutoff scores of ≤6 or ≤7 on Reliable Digit Span (RDS) can detect suboptimal effort across numerous adult clinical populations; however, these scores have not been validated for that purpose in an adult epilepsy population.
Reliable Digit Span (RDS) is a heavily researched symptom validity test with a recent literature review yielding more than 20 studies ranging in dates from 1994 to 2011. Unfortunately, limitations within some of the research minimize clinical generalizability.
19 Μαΐ 2011 · For Reliable Digit Span, the optimal cut-score was ≤6, with sensitivity of 51% and specificity of 92%. Although only moderately sensitive, Digit Span scores are likely to have good utility in identifying noncredible performance in relatively high-functioning older children and adolescents.
15 Οκτ 2022 · Reliable Digit Span (RDS), RDS-Revised (RDS-R), and age-corrected scaled score (ACSS) have been previously validated as embedded performance validity tests (PVTs) from the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale-IV Digit Span subtest (WAIS-IV DS).
One of the embedded-type PVTs called the Reliable Digit Span (RDS) is a PVT that uses the Digit Span subtest score on the Wechsler Adult Intelligence Scale (WAIS). RDS is one of the most studied PVTs and is one of the most commonly used PVTs in various fields [ 18 , 25 ].
5 Ιουν 2020 · The Reliable Digit Span (RDS) is a performance validity test (PVT) used widely within non-clinical samples, but its utility is in question in clinical groups with cognitive impairment.
1 Μαρ 2012 · This study investigated the utility of four WAIS-IV Digit Span (DS) indices (traditional Reliable Digit Span [RDS], RDS-Working Memory [RDS-WM], RDS-Revised [RDS-R], and DS Age-Corrected Scaled Score …
