All California Quarterly Packages have a weight limit of 30 pounds (450 ounces of products & 30 ounces for packing materials). There is no dollar limit on the California Quarterly Packages. All allowable items are featured on the website and in the catalog.
Compared to shipping packages from your home, this can be up to a $20 savings on a package that weighs 30 lbs. (total package weight = 30 pounds (450 ounces of product and 30 ounces for packing material).
Inmate Quarterly Packages are available through authorized private vendors (view approved package vendor list). Since 2003, the CDCR has contracted with a number of statewide and national companies that ensure inmates receive packages.
