2. Middle-Class Scholarship (MCS): This scholarship provides undergraduate students with annual family incomes and assets up to $217,000 a reduction of up to 40% on system-wide tuition and fees at the California State University (CSU) and University of California (UC). Like the Cal Grant, you apply via FAFSA or CA Dream Act application.

WebGrants by CSAC provides resources and tools to assist students with the college financial aid process in California.
Lesson Objectives: Identify how a student is preliminarily selected for and notified of the SWD access award. Identify how a student self-certifies eligibility for the SWD access award in 4 Students. Explain what a student must do if selected to verify eligibility for the SWD access award.
Students that are determined to be eligible to receive an MCS award will be notified by the California Student Aid Commission. Students may log in to their WebGrants for Students (WGS) account to review their Middle Class Scholarship California Aid Report (MCSCAR).
Cal Grant Programs. A Cal Grant is money for college you don’t have to pay back. To qualify, you must apply for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) or California Dream Act Application (CADAA) by the deadline and meet the eligibility and financial requirements as well as any minimum GPA requirements.
