The WWNC (Westwood Neighborhood Council) is a certified advisory board to the City of Los Angeles City Council. We were certified by the city of Los Angeles on January 19, 2010, to represent the community of Westwood, in Los Angeles, California.
Lisa has strong and loyal ties to Westwood and the entire West Los Angeles community. She believes that it is important to give back to your community, and that volunteering and community involvement is what fosters growth and prosperity for the community where one lives and works.
A Mayor, City Controller, and City Attorney are elected by City residents every four years. Fifteen City Council members representing fifteen districts are elected by the people for four-year terms, for a maximum of three terms.
Los Angeles's 11th City Council district is one of the fifteen districts in the Los Angeles City Council. It is currently represented by Democrat Traci Park since 2022, who succeeded Mike Bonin after his retirement.
