In Los Angeles County, secured assessments are identified by a ten-digit Assessorʼs Identification Number (A.I.N.). The first four digits refer to an Assessor Mapbook, the next three to a page in that mapbook, and the last three to a parcel on that page. For example, A.I.N. 1234 - 005-016 would refer to Mapbook 1234, Page 5, Parcel 16.
