By visiting California Wolf Center (CWC), you’ll be directly supporting wolf conservation while enjoying a unique and educational experience you're sure to remember for years to come. Wolf tours are by reservation only, but our downtown Julian visitor center and nature store is open to all.
Come visit San Diego County’s only wolf reserve to learn fun facts, meet the wolves, and get an inside look at wolf conservation! Tours of our resident wolf packs at our conservation facility are by appointment only, so please sign up for one of our three educational tours.
Our physical center near Julian, CA is home to several packs of gray wolves, including the North American gray wolf as well as multiple packs of the critically endangered Mexican gray wolf. Some of our wolf packs are featured in our educational programs.

During the tour you will have the opportunity to view 5 wolves that are on exhibit. The enclosures provides easy viewing of them. Personnel will meet you near a camping ground entrance which provided confusion to some attendees. The tour may be considered expensive if do not understand that the goal is to raise funds for preservation.
