14 Φεβ 2020 · You may be getting confused with the notion of changing your fluid after a very long period of not changing it. For example, a high-mileage vehicle that hasn't had a tranny fluid change in a long time (or ever) might actually drive worse after a fluid change.
Problem – Drivers may experience an unusually harsh 1-2 shift because the ECU has commanded maximum line pressure in order to compensate for excessive wear in the bore that contains the TCC isolator and regulator valves inside of the valve body. Solution – Replace the 4L60E valve body with revised TCC regulator and isolator valves.
6 Μαΐ 2011 · If it only leaks after having set a long period of time, it's usually due to the fluid draining back from the torque convertor, overfilling the pan / valve body cavity, then leaking at either the dipstick tube o'ring or kickdown / shift shaft seals.
5 Σεπ 2018 · Just did the first transmission fluid change in my 1LE. Changed both drain and fill plugs to magnetic plugs made by Dimple Products. The OEM plugs are not magnetic. Only have a little over 2000 miles on the car. Supported the transmission then dropped the crossmember. All six bolts are 15mm.
