You must have an online account with the University of Cambridge Accommodation Service to use this service. This service is only available to staff, members of the University/Affiliated Institutions and registered Landlords. Click here for more information on how to register.
Registration with the Accommodation Service is the first step to finding somewhere to live in Cambridge. We have an extensive list of University-owned and privately-owned properties on our database. When should I register?
The University of Cambridge has a dedicated Accommodation Service that manages rental properties on behalf of the University. They offer a free service, helping members of the University and affiliated institutions find a home in Cambridge.
The University Accommodation Service is a great place to start if you are looking to live out. I have decided to live out, what do I need to do? Please ensure you update your address via CamSIS Self-Service so the Tutorial Office can issue you with a council tax exemption certificate at the start of Michaelmas term.
Other information on accommodation can be obtained from property agencies in Cambridge, from noticeboards in the University Centre and the Graduate Union and the Cambridge Evening News property section.
To ensure you do not lose access to your account, you should set up at least 2 authentication methods. Choose from: notifications or codes from the Microsoft Authenticator mobile app – this is our recommended option and works over wifi as well as mobile connections.
