9 Οκτ 2019 · Worked fine on my chromebook (acer, Chrome OS version 77.0.3865.105) yesterday, blank screen today. Restarting didn't work, opening in app version and browser version both don't work, clearing the cache didn't help.
1 Απρ 2018 · Since some days ago, more than a week, I can't access the Spotify Web Player on any browser (Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge). Trying to access from my phone works (on Desktop View in browser), using a VPN of my own country works, on Linux it works, the desktop program also works.
Go to the web player. Supported web browsers. Pick your device to check for browsers compatible with the web player. Android. iOS. Desktop. Not working? Make sure your browser is up-to-date. Check and update it in your browser’s Help section. Try opening the web player in a private/incognito window.
24 Σεπ 2023 · If your Spotify web player is still not working, you could try clearing your browser cache. This will get rid of any loading or formatting issues. On Chrome, this is how you clear the cache:

Again this depends on your platform: desktop or Android. Desktop users can type chrome://settings/content/protected content in their Chrome address bar and enable this option: Sites can play protected content.
20 Αυγ 2022 · If you try to open the Spotify web player but get a message that “Playback of protected content is not enabled,” then you need to make sure you enable protected content in your browser. If you’re using Chrome, go to chrome://settings/content , then scroll down to “Protected content” and enable “Allow site to play protected content.”
