Prayer is a slow skill to train for ironmen due to having to obtain every bone. Ideally, it is best to use every bone on an experience boosting altar, such as the Chaos Altar, Ectofuntus, or with high Construction, a gilded altar in the chapel of your player-owned house.
not guilded altar, get drag bones and finish ghost ahoy quest, get dueling rings and buckets of slime and then use the ectofunctus for mad xp
Not worth. Use wildy altar with suicide method, if you die with a full invent of bones every other trip you're still getting the same exp you would at a gilded altar. If you're desperate to avoid wildy altar you could try some ectofunctus.
The game can be represented by three main phases: the early-game, mid-game, and end-game. The early-game consists mainly of questing, training skills to ~60–70, and acquiring best-in-slot ironman mid-game gear. Highlights include: Rune crossbow from crazy archaeologist. Broad bolts from broader fletching.
Saw bonus does work for Gilded Altar, it stacks with spicy stew boost, and no stew and tea do not stack, so the maximum boost you can get is +8 (+3 from saw, +5 from stew) what does this have to do with ironman mode. 67, +3 for crystal saw from eyes of glouphrie and +5 stew boost. Got it today. And I did the boost from lvl 67.
Unlike the standard optimal quest guide, this optimal free-to-play Ironman quest guide focuses mostly on optimizing the progress through many different quests at once, instead of optimizing for quest experience rewards.
Bones can be used on the altar in the Chaos Temple if the player does not have 75 Construction (boostable) for a Gilded altar. The Ectofuntus awards the most experience per bone, and parts of the First age outfit can be bought with Ecto-tokens.
