If you were trained and worked as a nurse internationally you probably have much of the basic requirements to work in Canada. The nursing associations in each province and territory establish the requirements for internationally educated nurses to be registered in Canada.
The International Educated Nurse BScN program has been developed in response to the need for registered nurses educated outside of Canada to meet the requirements to obtain the Canadian credentials for employment in Ontario.
The Faculty of Nursing encourages international students to apply for our programs. Refer to the Program Descriptions section of our website for more information about the admission requirements for our BScN programs.

The Bridging Pathways for Internationally educated nurses (BPIEN) is designed to help internationally educated nurses (IENs) to bridge the gap between their nursing education and experiences with Canadian Nursing, clinical, and non-clinical workplaces.
