23 Σεπ 2021 · In this article, I’ll briefly cover how to remove the OEM unit, wire up the T10, swap over the plastic parts from the OEM, and install the T10 into your 5th Gen 4Runner. I’m using an iPhone XS (Soon to have a 13) to connect to the Android head unit, and also as a hotspot.

2021 Head Unit Replacement. Just bought a 21 SR5 Premium XP. I was excited to start ordering a replacement head unit. I have had my eye on the Alpine or Pioneer floating display units. I have watched several videos of the installation in prior year models.
There are definitely better units than those. Start at Crutchfield, they’ll tell you what fits and have a ton of options. Or you could try Trail Grid Pro but they only deal with Sony units.
It's not the T10 but CTH has a head unit for 4th gen: https://cartrimhome.com/Head-unit-4runner-2003-2009. Haven't heard seen any reviews, but the icons shown make it appear like it may simply be an android tablet mounted in your dash with some car stereo features (exactly what T9/T10 is)
