The boat trip from Uvita to the island takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes, on the way you might find dolphins, sea turtles and whales (July-October, December-March). We offer private tours with the best tour operators for each activity.
Cost: $150 per person adults; $95 per person children ages 6-10. Rates plus 13% tax. Start Time: You’ll meet the tour operator in Uvita at 6:45 a.m. to check in and get fitted with equipment. The boat leaves the beach at 7:30 a.m. Return Time: 2:00 p.m. (approximate)
Early this morning, transfer by ground to Uvita beach. Here you will board a boat for a 1.5 – 2-hour journey to Cano Island, about 30 miles off the coast. The island is surrounded by five platforms of low coral reef, home to parrotfish, Crocodile Needlefish, Puffer, Cornet fish, and schools of Jack Fish.
Cano Island Snorkeling from Uvita from $150 During the tour, there is a great chance to see whales (in the season), dolphins, and marine turtles. On Cano Island, there are two guided snorkeling sessions, the time for each session is one and a half hours.
