23 Μαΐ 2008 · Conclusion - Pros. Superb resolution, good per-pixel sharpness (especially in raw files) Good tonal response and dynamic range. Trademark Canon CMOS noise free images, remain detailed even at high sensitivities. Optional high ISO NR removes all chroma noise. Viewfinder bigger and brighter than predecessors.
The compact and lightweight Canon EOS 450D features a big 12.2 MP CMOS sensor, a 3.0” LCD with Live View mode and a 9-point wide-area AF. The new DIGIC III processor manages 3.5 frames per second and the EOS Integrated-Cleaning-System is supposed to ensure clean shots without dust and debris on the sensor.
The Canon EOS 450D (also known as the Digital Rebel XSi) is the successor to the popular EOS 400D DSLR camera, and it offers a number of significant improvements that Canon hope will fight off the ever-increasing competition.

Both Digital Photo Professional and Adobe Camera RAW have selectable noise reduction options providing control over chrominance and luminance noise reduction independently. The new version of Digital Photo Professional provides a 0-10 scale whilst Adobe Camera RAW provides a 0-100 scale for each.
