4 Απρ 2006 · Canon EOS 30D Review. The model line in which the EOS 30D sits has seen a total of five models, each offering either an upgrade in features, resolution or both.
The 30D shares many of the 20D's excellent specs and features including the same 8.2 MP CMOS sensor, DIGIC II Image processor, 5 fps fast continuous shooting, high-precision 9 point AF (Auto Focus) system, viewfinder and a durable magnesium alloy body.

4 Απρ 2006 · Excellent resolution, very good per-pixel sharpness. Good tonal and color response, same as EOS 20D 'Parameter 1' in Standard PS. Now with four metering modes, spot metering very welcome. Trademark Canon CMOS noise free images, remain detailed even at high sensitivities. About a third of a stop more sensitive than indicated.
21 Φεβ 2006 · As a new camera the Canon EOS 30D is a bit of a disappointment, but viewed as an upgrade to an already very good camera, it performs its role well. So while the extra functions don’t excite us as much as a brand new model would, the Canon 30D is still a very good camera. Read full review

Canon has also tweaked the 30D’s image processor to deliver speed improvements across a range of functions. Camera start-up time is now virtually instantaneous and mirror black-out has been reduced to 110 milliseconds.
