PPL has a built-in library of ICC profiles for Canon papers and will automatically load the profile to match the Canon paper you've selected under Media Type. If you're using third-party paper, go to PPL's Color Management tab and, under Color Mode, select Use ICC Profile, then select the appropriate profile in the Printer Profile pop-up.

By specifying an ICC profile, you can print according to the paper to be used or print by utilizing the color space of the image developed or corrected in Adobe RGB or sRGB. Start Professional Print & Layout, and then drag and drop the images you want to print to the Preview area.
18 Απρ 2023 · If you are using Canon papers then it is OK to select "Managed by Printer". When you select the media type the driver will select the correct Canon profile. I always have the application manage printing and select the correct profile, even if I am printing on Canon paper.
For best results when printing your image using Canon's Professional Print & Layout (PPL) software, you need to specify your printer, paper type and other settings, making sure you're using the correct ICC profile for your printer and media.
