Download, print and use this free lens autofocus calibration card to quickly and esily check and correct the autofocus of your camera and lens system.
Make sure the lens is set to autofocus and using the centre focus point auto-focus on the center of the board, and take a photo. Change the focus and then autofocus on the centre of the card again and take another picture. Repeat this and take atleast 5 images per test.
You can download a high resolution printable version of this image (as a Zipped JPEG) via THIS LINK. With the lens testing target printed on glossy paper, most printers should be capable of printing a good quality target when set to their maximum quality settings.

22 Απρ 2021 · The goal of this article is to give you some pointers on how you can do some basic lens testing at home. To do that, I will share with you techniques I have used to test my lenses. There are two parts to my lens-test goal: Evaluating the lens’s performance, Getting the testing out of the way so that I can go out and make photos.
The lens testing chart which is shown at reduced size below can be downloaded (as a Zipped JPEG) HERE. You can see two sets of parallel lines which are your focus indicators. The numbers 1, 2 and 3 represent 1cm, 2cm and 3cm distances when the chart is used at 45 degrees as explained below.
