17 Ιουλ 2023 · The Capital One hardship program is a temporary adjustment to a Capital One credit card’s terms to help out customers with financial troubles. This could include lowered interest rates, settlement for a portion of the total debt, or the ability to temporarily not make payments.
I literally just got off the phone with Capital One. They have a hardship program. My monthly payment is now a minimum of 79$ a month until the balance is paid. My card is cancelled and no more interest is accuring on my account.

Applying for hardship or credit card payment plans from Capital One. The main number to dial for Capital One is 1-800-955-7070, or consumers can call the phone number that is on the back of their card as well. There are also other ways to get help as well, and find additional credit card assistance programs.
They offered to defer one month for now with no fees but still charge interest. If things are still bad, I can try this again each month until things are better. Also try calling during off peak hours.
