The CCA rating of your car battery should be listed on the battery itself or in the owner’s manual. Look for a label that lists the CCA rating, which is typically measured in amps. If you’re unsure of your battery’s CCA rating, you can also consult with a professional mechanic or battery specialist.
6 Ιουν 2024 · A CCA battery is a type of car battery that helps start your car in cold weather. This article explains what Cold Cranking Amps (CCA) are and how they work. We’ll also compare CCA with other battery ratings and help you choose the right one.
15 Φεβ 2024 · CCA measures your battery's ability to start your vehicle in cold temperatures. Specifically, the amount of amperage a battery can supply at zero degrees (-17.8 C) for 30 seconds while sustaining a voltage of at least 7.2 volts.
How many CCA is too little and indicates the battery needs replacing. My mechanic said they tested my battery and saw it has 366 CCA. The label on the battery says it has 500 CCA. The battery is about 4 years old and the warranty is 42 months so it's outside of warranty right now.
