I can order a new relay from amazon for less than $20 apiece but they don't specify if it is the A or B relay.
17 Αυγ 2009 · Also on your GL1500, there is a starter relay switch B (between the relay A and the starter). Look at your Honda service manual page 18-3, you will see both relays.
22 Απρ 2014 · If the reverse relay makes no difference, then your A starter relay may be bad. The A and B relays are interchangeable, they have a different color connector on them and that's the only difference in their function.
Starter Relay Switches A & B Operation Inspection. With the ignition switch turned to “ON” and the engine stop switch to “ ”, push the starter/reverse switch and check for a “click” sound from starter relay switches A and B. Both switches should click.
