1 Αυγ 2017 · Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom. Select OK. Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows. Close Devices and Printers. You may download and install the drivers from this link. Now you may try to scan again. Hope this fixes the issue. Let me know. Good luck! 🙂

10 Φεβ 2017 · I recently installed a new HP Envy 4500 series printer and all is good with the exception of the scanning option. I have followed all the printer screen instructions and troubleshooting options and I still cannot not get my printer to scan documents to my computer.

Install HP Scan and Capture to scan, edit, and share items with a Windows computer. If you have not set up the printer with the full feature drivers, go to 123.hp.com/setup to download and install the drivers.
HP Officejet 4500 used to work with Win 7. I installed Win 10 and Windows FAX and SCAN says there is no scanner connected. I run the setup.exe for the device, it completes and still does not work.
