María del Carmen Aristegui Flores (Spanish pronunciation: [ˈkaɾ.men a.ɾisˈte.ɣi]; born January 18, 1964) is a Mexican journalist and news anchor. She is widely regarded as one of Mexico's leading journalists and opinion leaders, and is best known for her critical investigations of the Mexican government.
