If your furnace is not blowing hot air, or is not operating at all, a component called the fan limit switch or high limit switch may have malfunctioned. You may also see an error message on your thermostat, or a blinking LED light on the furnace control board.
The fan limit switch on a heating furnace controls when the furnace blower fan turns on and off. This control also provides a safety limit that turns off the burner or furnace if temperatures at the furnace are too high.
However, this new furnace when in continuous fan mode, the fan runs at a much lower speed than it does when the furnace is actually on... I'm guessing it's like 20% or so, you can barely even feel it coming out of the vents. I'd like it to be the same or close to the same speed it is when the furnace is on.
Comfort Fan −On all but the 58STA or 58STX, the continuous fan blower speed can be increased or decreased if desired due to change of seasons, large gatherings in your home, etc. Simply change your “FAN” switch from “on” to “off” (or “auto” depending on your thermostat), and then return to “on”, within 1 to. 3 seconds.
7 Σεπ 2022 · On all but the base series furnace, the blower speed can be increased or decreased if desired due to change of seasons, large gatherings in your home, etc. Simply change your FAN from ON to OFF for 1 to 3 seconds (or AUTO depending on your thermostat), and then return to ON.
