The CARS-2 is an updated version of the widely-used Childhood Autism Rating Scale (CARS) for assessing autism symptoms. It retains the original CARS as the CARS2-ST for younger or lower-functioning individuals. A new scale, the CARS2-HF, was developed for higher-functioning individuals.
