   Based on ravelry comments, I would use cascade 220 superwash, because the reviews for superwash sport are largely negative and talk about it pilling worse than the worsted weight version. Cascade 220 superwash does run on the light side, kinda a light worsted. However the best thing would be do buy a single skein from your LYS or online and swatch

   Cascade 220 is great, it has a tight twist which means it will wear well. It's not the softest but that is a trade off with durability. I think it's soft enough and you can't beat the colors or price for 100% wool.

   cascade 220 is a great, affordable worsted wt yarn. it's not itchy, it's not too heavy. I've used it to knit 2 sweaters this year.
