19 Δεκ 2006 · If you look inside the bomb bay of the B-36, you can see where they cut the airframe in half in order to transport it to Castle. Interesting story: I went there with my nephew, who used to be in the ROTC before he joined the AF.

The B-24 on display has been on outdoor display at the Castle Air Museum now for nearly 33 years. Time exposed to the elements are taking a toll on this grand lady and defender of freedom.
