Spray a disinfectant spray into every vent, including the vents on the dashboard, near your feet, and in the backseat. Once you’ve done that, turn the car on and the AC to max power.
If your car is leaking gasoline, the smell can get sucked into the cabin via the AC. To solve this issue, locate and fix the leak. Check the fuel pressure regulator of the engine to see if the drip is in this area. You also need to inspect the fuel injector O rings in the engine compartment.
