Though these behaviors are a matter of individual service member choice, they are influenced by perceptions of the culture of alcohol use in the military.
The focal analysis examined differences in current alcohol problems at first follow-up based upon military status (current soldier, previous soldier, civilian spouses), controlling for participant sex and alcohol consumption at baseline.
