One of the oldest images in the world resides in the Apollo 11 Cave (2.15). The cave is famous for housing one of the oldest pieces of transportable art in the world, a quartzite stone slab drawing of an animal. The “paint” used by the bushman was a combination of ostrich egg yolk and ground ochre.
