Camping: Cave Lake offers two designated campgrounds: Elk Flat Campground and Lake View Campground. All sites are level and include a fire pit with grill, table and parking. Access roads to campsites are unpaved.
Reservations for campsites can be made in advance but aren’t required. If you’re coming to Cave Lake from Highways 93, 50, or 6, Elk Flat will be the first campground you see.
There are 2- campgrounds. One is walking distance to the Lake called Lakeview. There are only 25 or so sites and these were full on a Tuesday, so we drove to the other one called Elk Flats. Elk Flats is only a 5 min drive and close enough for us to fish at the lake.

Showers and flush-type toilets are available while the campground is open. The Lake View Campground is near the lake and is open year-round with flush toilets and showers.
