1 Ιαν 2023 · This Plan Document explains the benefits available to Members of the Arkansas State and Public School Employee Health Insurance Plan (known as the Plan or ARBenefits throughout the rest of this document). The Plan provides coverage for participating Employees, Retirees , and eligible Dependents.
8 Ιουν 2023 · Arkansas Legislative Law allows a retiree a one-time option to enroll in the State and Public-School Retirement Health Plan. Enrollment is either at the time of eligibility or delayed enrollment due to current coverage on an employer-sponsored group health plan with a qualifying event of involuntary loss of coverage.
Voluntary products are additional insurance plans offered by the State. This includes enrolling in a Health Savings Account (HSA) and life insurance.
The Arkansas Teacher Retirement System is a defined benefit retirement plan established by state law for public school and other public education employees in Arkansas. It is administered as a "qualified" government sponsored retirement plan under the provisions of IRS § 401 (a).
